Scattered showers popping up and will spread inland today. Here’s more.
Scattered showers have already started along I-95 and are spreading very slowly just to the west.
As the day goes on the sea breeze will push inland and collide late in the afternoon to the early evening mainly from Orlando to the west.
Most of the rain will be light, but there could be a few that produce moderate to heavy rainfall at times. These pockets of could add up quickly if the rain just sits or moves slowly in one area. Most of central Florida won’t see much rain activity with chances at 30-40%. Expect showers to taper off around dinner time for everyone around Orlando and to the east. Western counties will have rain potential through at least sunset before fizzling out.
Highs today will rebound to upper 80s nearing 90 degrees inland. Along the coast expect the lower 80s.
We kick off the work week with a few showers here and there and highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. By midweek rain chances are down, but the heat cranks up to the mid-to-upper 90s.
